Why DRONA?: DRONA was a great Indian Teacher who had the uncanny ability in bringing the best out of his students. The Indian Government has established DRONACHARYA awards for outstanding Teachers/Trainers from various fields.

 
 

Objective: To imbibe Leadership Skills & Develop Appraisal Skills.

 
 
Approach: Through assessment of SELF amongst PEER.

 
 
Methodology: Through Leadership Skills assessment

 
 
Audience : Teaching and Non Teaching staff of colleges.

 
 
Duration : Three days, 9 AM to 6 PM.

MODULE: MULTI-DIMENSIONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Do’s & Don’ts when using Audio Visuals
4. One –to-Many Communication Skills – Theory

Handbook on handling One-to-Many Communication.
5.Lecturing Skills -Exercise No.2 & One-to-Many Communication skills Exercise

A ready to use manual on topics such as “ Communicating with different kind   of people”, “Situation Management”   etc.
6.Building creativity amongst students Case studies and activities
Creative inputs & Knowledge sharing
 

MODULE: TEAM BUILDING


 
 

1. Team Game – 1- Trials & tribulations.

Planning, Strategizing, co-ordination, Analytical
 
2. Team Game – 2- On your mark
Co-ordination., Leadership, team spirit & task Completion.
3. Team Game – 3- Great Intent
Creativity & Innovation, Negotiation skills, selling Skills, cross functional understanding of job/activities
4. Team Game – 4- The Ball Game
Leadership, risk taking, setting stretched goals
5. Team Game – 5- Wayward Flock
Managing with constraints, communication skills
 

MODULE: GOAL SETTING


 
 

The major take outs will be an insight into departmental functioning, aligning INSTITUTIONAL GOALS to STUDENT GOALS,impact study of departmental goals on EACH STUDENT Forecasting skills for every INDIVIDUAL, issues in cross departmental
communication.
The following teams are to be formed;
Team Rising Sun, Team Shining Star, Team Cooling Moon, Team Patient Ocean, and Infinite sky All teams should have participation from each Function / Department
The following activities are to be completed by every team confidentially. All team members to be identified in advance by the Management & the team should meet at least 4 times ( without affecting the on going work) and complete the assigned activities.
The team members must do the whole presentation during the Workshop. The teams will have to present their ideas on the following topics, with the OVERALL OBJECTIVE BEING IDEAS TOMAKE OUR INSTITUTION THE MOST PREFFERED AMONGST
THE COMPETITIVE INSTITUTIONS.
